Domestic Violence

  • Angels 911, Inc. – offers one-on-one support, advocacy & referrals to women who are experiencing domestic violence or homelessness; 24-hour emergency service                         614-315-3497
  • CHOICES Eliminating Domestic Violence – offers alternatives to people living in violent situations, promotes a more functional home and family environment, intervenes in the cycle of violence, and alerts the community as to the complexity and enormity of the issue and the need for extensive networks of service.   • Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence – created to improve the way individuals and institutions in Central Ohio think about and respond to family violence by forming alliances with corporate, medical, law enforcement and social service agencies, as well as faith communities.   • Domestic Violence National Hotline – provides referrals to services across the country, can assist with crisis intervention & safety planning      800-799-7233
  • Lawrence County Helping HandsIronton, Ohio         888-372-7433            Crisis: 740-532-7111
  • Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO) – the local sexual assault intervention & prevention program. SARNCO works with local law enforcement & social service agencies to provide medical & social support services to victims of sexual assault in Franklin County.
