Annual contributions are essential to fill the gap between actual operating costs and the amount we charge for services in order to keep them affordable for the people who need them most. Through the generosity and compassion of our philanthropic partners, LSS can continue to create a better world long into the future. Make a donation online using a MasterCard or Visa. NOTE: Credit card information is required to ensure your credit card is securely and properly processed. This information is solely used for the processing of the credit card.
To mail a donation, please send it to:
Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio Attn: Development / Communications Dept. 750 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43205-1000
For questions about donations, please call 614-228-5200 or email donations@lssco.org.
Planned Giving:
We have an increasing number of friends at LSS who now are benefiting from life income gifts, gift annuities and other plans. If you would like to explore the benefits of gift planning, please visit our planned giving website at www.lssplannedgift.org
Thrivent Matching Gift Program
Unlike any other organization, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans offers a benefit that enhances the charitable giving of its members.
A gift to a Lutheran organization enrolled in the GivingPlus® Program can accomplish even more. Through the GivingPlus® Program, a member's financial gift will be supplemented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Volunteer Opportunities:
LSS attributes much of its success to the assistance of dedicated volunteers. Last year, 18,888 volunteers helped LSS serve people in need.
Here are a few of the volunteer opportunities available.
Food Pantries
Volunteers stock shelves, take donations and fill customer orders. Opportunities are also available for volunteers who enjoy more direct involvement with the customers by working the intake desk or supervising volunteers.
The only requirement for volunteering is the willingness to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. The commitment of time is up to you. We know that there are many demands placed upon your time, so we work around you. If you feel the call to serve please contact us for open dates.
