  • Adopt-A-House – commit to being responsible for the maintenance & upkeep of an apartment unit, the grounds of a building, or common space in a building. All equipment & supplies are provided.  Contact an LSS representative
  • Affordable Housing – LSS provides housing for more than 750 people who qualify based upon income and age or disability-related criteria. For many seniors living on a fixed income, LSS Affordable Housing Communities offer an opportunity to ease their financial worries. Residents agree that without LSS they would probably be living in a costly and unsafe apartment.   • Case Management – describes the process of intake & follow-up with a client to connect them to needed services & programs to attain self-sufficiency; includes forms.        Contact an LSS representative
  • Disaster Preparedness Training – educational workshops that provide basic information on disaster preparedness and response and build capacity to respond to disasters with more specific modules that train participants in case management, donations management, volunteer coordination, spiritual care, ecumenical collaborations or database management                     http://www.lssco.org/disasterresponse.html

  • Kensington Place – provides an independent, elegant way of life while residents enjoy the comforts of a pampered lifestyle enhanced by attractive home-like surroundings. Residents have no concerns of home maintenance, repairs or security.   • Lutheran Village of Columbus – a comprehensive, well-appointed retirement community in a country-like setting, with an urban flair.   • Member Covenant – a vehicle for LSS Member Congregations to demonstrate greater responsibility to the Agency by committing to certain annual obligations, while becoming eligible for additional support and resources from LSS.  Contact an LSS representative
  • Servant EventsIn an effort to strengthen, and in some instances rebuild, Appalachian communities, LSS Southeast Ohio Ministries coordinates community outreach efforts, or servant events. Servant events are an encouragement to practice Christ’s unconditional love, serve people in ways that enrich their lives, and share faith in practical ways. A group visits Southeast Ohio for a weekend or a week, providing service and aid to disaster victims.          http://www.lssco.org/som.html
