Since 1964, Lutheran Village of Columbus has provided lifestyle options to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of senior adults. At our assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, we help senior adults experience fulfillment and satisfaction.
The Village Courtyards, a licensed residential care facility, is designed for older adults who want to remain as independent as possible, yet need some assistance with daily personal tasks, such as bathing, dressing and taking medication. Programs at The Village Courtyards are designed to help nurture independence, preserve dignity and protect privacy.
Services are tailored to meet individual needs. Monthly fees are based on the individual level of care needed. There is also a secured unit consisting of 11 private rooms to meet the needs of residents in the early stages of dementia.
Our monthly service fee includes the following:
- Three well-balanced meals per day
- All utilities (except telephone)
- 24-hour security
- Full laundry services
- Housekeeping services
- Assistance as needed with daily personal tasks, such as bathing and dressing
- Assistance with mobility and redirection
- Restorative therapy
- Emergency call system
- Social activities and special outings
- Cable TV service
Other available services include:
- Medication administration
- Priority access to The Care Center
- Scheduled dental and podiatric services
- Scheduled transportation service
- Occupational, speech and physical therapy
- On-site chaplain services
- On-site beauty and barber salon

Since 1964, Lutheran Village of Columbus Care Center has provided excellent health care for older adults. There are 186 skilled and intermediate beds in private or semi-private rooms. Both skilled and long-term care are provided by a competent and caring staff. The Care Center is certified for both Medicare and Medicaid.
The Care Center is dedicated to providing our residents an optimal level of independence within a caring, respectful environment. We subscribe to the Geriatric Nursing Practice Standards as set forth by the American Nurses' Association. Our health care professionals include:
